Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Location: plano, Texas
Position Type: Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

Qualifications:

  • LPC or LPC-Associate in good standing with the state of Texas
  • Strong understanding of total-person wellness and holistic therapeutic approaches
  • Experience in individual, group, and family therapy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Seasonal Openings

Montfort Fellowship – Practicum Student (Master’s Level)

Location: plano, Texas
Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (September–May)

The Montfort Fellowship is a selective training program for one Master’s level counseling student each year. This unique opportunity provides practicum experience in a boutique private practice setting, under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, while contributing to the distinctive client care that defines The Montfort Group.

Program Structure:

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Master’s-level Clinical Mental Health Counseling on the Licensed Professional Counselor track
  • Eligibility to begin practicum hours for academic credit
  • Commitment to practicing within ethical guidelines and state board requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills
  • Desire to learn in a collaborative, client-centered environment

  • One fellowship position is awarded each year.
  • The program runs September through May, regardless of your university’s official practicum start and end dates.
  • Your academic practicum requirements will be included, but fellows are also expected to engage part-time in learning about private practice operations throughout the full program.
  • Our goal is to provide both clinical training and professional development for those interested in eventually building a career in private practice.

Applications for the fellowship are accepted June through August each year, with the selected fellow beginning in September.
