How Individual Therapy Can Help You
Improved Communication – Learn to express needs & listen effectively.
Communication is the foundation of every strong relationship. Many couples struggle with feeling unheard or misunderstood, leading to frustration and disconnection.
Rebuilding Trust – Heal from past wounds & strengthen emotional security.
Trust is essential for a healthy relationship, but it can be difficult to rebuild once broken. Whether your relationship has experienced betrayal, dishonesty, or emotional distance, we provide a space for open, honest healing.
Restoring Intimacy – Deepen your connection & rekindle affection.
Many couples find that physical and emotional intimacy fade over time, leading to feelings of loneliness or rejection.
Managing Conflict – Develop healthy strategies to resolve disagreements.
Disagreements are normal, but how you handle them determines the health of your relationship. If arguments frequently escalate or feel unproductive, we help you.
Navigating Transitions – Overcome life changes & challenges as a team.
Major life transitions—whether having children, moving, career shifts, or empty-nesting—can put pressure on a relationship.

Before therapy, we felt more like roommates than partners. We were constantly miscommunicating and arguing over the smallest things. Our therapist at The Montfort Group helped us understand each other on a deeper level, and we’ve learned how to truly listen and communicate. Now, we feel more connected than ever.
We’ve faced our own moments of stress, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Just like you, we’ve turned to therapy for support, growth, and healing. Because we’ve been in your shoes, we know firsthand how powerful and transformative this process can be.
That’s why we’re passionate about creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

LET'S BREAK it DOWN
We acknowledge how daunting it can feel to reach out for help—especially if you are in great pain, or have never worked with a therapist before. With this in mind, we prioritize connecting you with the tailored care and support you need as quickly as possible. You can expect to receive a personal call from our Client Care Coordinator within 24 hours of your inquiry.
Perhaps after reading our bios you already know which therapist you’d like to work with, or maybe you’re unsure about the right fit. During your initial phone call, our Client Care Coordinator will ask you a few questions in order to pair you with the perfect therapist for your needs. Afterward, she will remain available to guide you through our simple intake process and prepare you for a productive first session.
Your first session will be focused on sharing your story, establishing a connection with your therapist, and designing an initial treatment plan tailored to your needs. After outlining the way forward, you and your therapist will work collaboratively to determine the right mix of in-person and virtual appointments to ensure continued progress.
“I still look back on the content covered in those sessions and I feel like so much growth and great dialogue took place."
“I have found a place where my entire family has benefited. It was THE FIRST PLACE THAT REALLY FELT LIKE HOME.”
It takes courage to acknowledge when you need help, and that courage is what will carry you through. We know because we’ve been there too. As therapists, we’ve faced our own struggles, questioned ourselves, and done the hard work of healing. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned—you are more resilient than you realize. No matter what you’re going through, you have the ability to grow, heal, and move forward.
Right now, you might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next step. But here’s the truth—you’ve already shown strength by being here, considering therapy, and seeking support.
You are not alone, and you are exactly where you need to be.

“True healing begins the moment you decide you’re worthy of it—and you are.”
After an affair, we didn’t think it was possible to move forward. The pain was overwhelming, but with therapy, we learned how to rebuild trust, be honest about our emotions, and create a new foundation for our marriage. It wasn’t easy, but with the support of our therapist, we made it through stronger and more connected than before.
You deserve support, not just survival. Struggling through stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges alone can be exhausting. Therapy helps you move beyond just “getting by” and toward true healing.
There’s no perfect moment—only the present one. Waiting for the “right time” often means waiting forever. Growth happens when you decide to prioritize yourself, even in the midst of life’s chaos.
Your emotions are valid, and they deserve attention. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained, therapy provides a space where your feelings are heard, understood, and processed in a healthy way.
Change starts with one step. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Taking the first step—reaching out—sets the foundation for progress, healing, and a healthier future.
Let’s make today the day you say yes to yourself.
You’ve thought about it. Maybe you’ve even started searching for a therapist before but didn’t take the next step. Life gets busy, doubts creep in, and it’s easy to tell yourself, I’ll figure it out on my own. But here’s the truth—you don’t have to do it alone.

Still on the Fence?
Maybe you’re wondering if it will actually help, if your struggles are “big enough” to need therapy, or if you’ll even know what to say once you get there. We get it—taking that first step can feel intimidating.
But here’s the thing: Therapy isn’t just for crisis moments—it’s for anyone who wants to grow, heal, and feel more in control of their life. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like something needs to change, that’s reason enough to start.
